AHF Volunteer Distribution Training
Complete this training before attending an AHF distribution shift. This module covers shift preparation, weather and cancellations, transportation, care kit distribution, privacy, team lead authority, safety, emergency response, de-escalation, prohibited activities, and post-shift reporting.
This training does not replace team lead instructions. Volunteers must always follow shift-specific guidance and ask for clarification when needed.
Review the Volunteer Distribution Protocol First
Before beginning the training module, volunteers should review the full AHF Volunteer Distribution Protocol. The training module summarizes and reinforces the protocol, but the protocol remains the primary reference for shift expectations, safety procedures, privacy requirements, reporting, and team lead authority.
